It's showtime!!! (well, almost)

First of all, don't forget that the show is this Friday at 10pm at ComedySportz and costs a paltry $5. Cheap, right?

Second, I want to make a personal message about the show in terms of it's "funniness" factor. When Erin and I we were putting the final touches on the video segments last weekend, I was finally able to watch a portion of the first show. I laughed my ass off time and time again, but I had the nagging thought in the back of my head, "How is our new show going to compare?" Well, to put it mildly "Everything About This Hurts" is funnier than the last. I'm not kidding, it's just good comedy featuring so much talent your head might explode. So, if you're debating on what to this Friday then you should give TJR a shot. I can promise you (as long as you don't hold me to it) that you won't be disappointed.

A reminder

So, I was listening to my extensive Jay-Z collection and I realized that our show is next week! Can you believe it? May 23rd...

I suppose we should start rehearsing...

Yay! A Promo!

Feast your eyes on this!

Have you ever wondered how silly that sounds? Feast your eyes on this? That must be colloquial...

In Memoriam

In addition to their all-new sketch show, Track Jacket Revue will be presenting an even more meaningful and spiritual event on Friday, May 23rd. After the show TJR will be remembering our lost savior Brett Favre in a public memorial service. The service will be immediately proceeded by a ritual "Burning of the FIB."

On a related note, TJR is looking for a dependable (and discrete) source of ether for their upcoming daytrip to Chicago.

Track Jacket Thrill Show!

I just got off the phone with the legendary Tommy Bartlett from the Tommy Bartlett Thrill Show and Robot World in Wisconsin Dells. At first I thought, "Sweet he got my application and I too can water ski with the ladies." Sadly he didn't want to discuss my resume. Mr. Bartlett was furious with Track Jacket Revue for hosting it's second show at the start of Memorial Day Weekend. He's afraid we'll cut into his profit margin because people don't want to drive to the Dells to see a show that hasn't changed since 1986, his words not mine. I told Mr. Bartlett that we can't help that our show is only 5 dollars or that our show can save America, combat global warming and get virgins laid.

Needless to say the conversation didn't go well. I offered him free tickets and he told me to get bent. I guess I'll have to water ski somewhere else, Lake Michagin if I have to.

Well, well, well it looks like we actually have a show date. After much deliberation we've settled on MAY 23rd. Don't worry, that's still a Friday and it's still going to be at 10pm and still only cost $5. Yup still a measly $5.

Those pictures Mike was talking about

This is for all you Track Jacket groupies out there who can't seem to get enough of the team. Following are several production stills from our very first day of shooting.

I'm not sure why I look like a forty year old woman in the last one. Eh, take what you can get, right ladies?

Goddamn.

Been a while, ain't it? We've got some new production stills ready to show, if Leeford ever gets around to uploading them somewhere, we also have a new promo you might never see. Neat! We think ComedySportz will let us play with them on May 16th, so that's what we're going with until we say otherwise. We should wrap shooting by the beginning of May, and given our proclivity to short bursts of extreme productivity, that should mean everything will align itself perfectly for the show date. Neat! As ever, the show will be at 10 PM with an open bar and waitstaff, and only $5. Check out any of Milwaukee's lame-ass clubs--the cover's going to be 3 times that or more. What do you really want to do on a Friday night, stand in line to get ignored by fuckin' skanks or come laugh your ass off at us?
